The Pittsburgh Safe Boating Council meets the first Tuesday each month at
the Three Rivers Rowing facility in Millvale, PA.

	The meeting begins at 10:00 am normally.

	The council is made up of government agencies such as PA Fish & Boat Com.,
	Pgh. River Rescue, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and
	private organizations such as the U. S. Power Squadron and U.S. Coast Guard
	Aux., along with private clubs and businesses.

	The council produces and sells a guide to the Three Rivers area that
	includes boating safety tips as well as river charts and bike trail info.

	The council also coordinates safety boats for river event sponsors.

	The council provides input and connects the boating community concerning
	regulations, events and even property development.
